Encompassing the largest land area of any Boy Scout Council East of the Mississippi and serving over 5,000 Scouts in Eastern & Northern Maine, the Katahdin Area Boy Scout Council turned to Nickerson & O’Day, Inc. to build its now headquarters building.

Built for nearly 40% less than budget, this effort was a triumph of collaboration where Nickerson & O’Day solicited and coordinated significant regional and community support for this impressive structure. With a large stone fireplace and a cathedral ceiling/window wall at the Scout Store it functions as a perfect setting for Scouting events.
