The Army Regional Training Institute, currently under construction, will be a 50,000 SF single story, blast resistant structure that meets the Department of Defense, Anti-Terrorism Standard for buildings. NOD is delivering this project on a Design-Bid-Build basis with an eye towards achieving LEED Silver Certification.

The site required substantial ledge cut and the reuse ofthe crushed ledge as fill on site. Building features include a 144 seat auditorium/lecture hall, a large lobby including a skylight atrium with cherry wainscoating, classrooms, a library, training simulator and distance learning center. All building heating and cooling will be provided via a 60 well, Geothermal Heat Pump System.
