Paul Bunyan to Get a New Companion
Nickerson & O’Day is proud to be named the Construction Manager to construct the first major addition to the 1959 Paul Bunyan statue at the Cross Insurance Center on Main Street in Bangor. After 56 years standing alone, Paul will hopefully, in 2016, be joined with his long-time companion, Babe the Blue Ox. Stay tuned for more news as plans are finalized later this fall!
Another new school is under construction and these kids got to put their names in it.

The New Central Community Elementary School is “Topped Off”

Nickerson & O’Day, Inc., construction manager for the new, Central Community Elementary School is pleased to announce that we are hosting a Beam Raising Ceremony on Thursday August 13, 2015 commencing at 12:30 pm. Students and faculty from RSU #64 will be there to sign the new beam before it is hoisted into place. Karl Ward, President/C.E.O. of Nickerson & O’Day Inc. as well as Rhonda Sperry, RSU #64 Superintendent, will speak about the unique features of this very special project and the tradition of the Beam Raising Ceremony.
