Presque Isle Community Center Project
July 8th: Nickerson & O’Day continues toward an on-time, on-budget completion of our 12-month-long, $8M Presque Isle Community Center project! Job looks great and kudos to NOD PM Tim Porter and Superintendent Tony Tinto and our ALL-MAINE team of subcontractors, many of them from The County! This effort provided over 100 construction jobs and infused over $50M of economic activity into the Maine economy! Ribbon-cutting planned for later this summer!!
Students of Maine Maritime Academy at Great Hall of Flags
On March 23rd, the statehouse welcomed the staff and students of Maine Maritime Academy to the Great Hall of Flags where Our Governor, Paul LePage, reaffirmed his support for this amazing institution. Karl felt proud when President Brennan mentioned the recent Nickerson & O’Day-completed, $7M ABS Science and Research Center! We are so fortunate to have MMA here in In our Great State of Maine!
Presque Isle Community Center
On March 14th, Karl ventured North to Northern Aroostook County to check in on two of our larger Nickerson & O’Day projects: the beautiful $9M Presque Isle Community Center project and the nearby $2M Micmac Community Center project, both in Presque Isle. Both projects are moving along nicely with nearly all local subcontractors. Superintendents Tony Tinto and Leroy Bryant are doing outstanding work! C’mon Spring!
