SF Bus Maintenance and LP Gas Refueling Facility

Constructed to LEED Gold Standards, this state-of-the-art, 20,000 SF Bus Maintenance and LP Gas Refueling Facility includes solar panel hot-water heating, sun-tube daylighting and a high efficiency lighting system. With a 4,000 foot set-back, the site required a two-lane entrance road and stream crossing. It completes the first phase of what will become the Acadia National Park Visitor Center at the “gateway to Mount Desert Island.”
