Nickerson & O'Day, Inc.

John Bapst thrives and grows in no small part through the support of our family and friends. At the John Bapst Senior Night Football Game on October 5, the generosity of Nickerson & O'Day, Inc. was recognized.

On Wednesday, August 15th at Speedway 95 the Jason and Jarryd Tracy tribute car made its debut during the Wacky Wednesday Enduro race. The car was built by the Tracy family in honor of their son and past Nickerson & O'Day employee, Jason Tracy, and grandson Jarryd. The car was driven by experienced driver Duane Dunifer, a close friend of the Tracy family. When the dust settled, the team finished 7th after starting 25th out of 26.

Special thanks to the Tracy family for displaying the Nickerson & O'Day logo on the car - we are honored and humbled by this gesture!

"3 years ago, sitting in a Bapst Finance Committee meeting, I looked through the window to see that several other 12' tall, 90-year old windows were deteriorated and literally falling apart. Something had to be done. 3 years, several Bangor Historical Society meetings and $55,000.00 later, my Nickerson & O'Day crews are on site installing donated historically exact custom-fabricated replicas.

Hopefully, they last the next 90 years!"

Progress is looking great on NOD's $6M addition and renovation of the Augusta Hartford (Central) Fire Station. Our team is surging ahead of schedule with the good weather and headed to a December completion - a Christmas present to the great folks at the City of August for entrusting this 100-year-old gem to Nickerson & O'Day!

Congratulations Josh, on receiving the 2018 Nickerson & O'Day, Inc. Construction/Engineering Scholarship!

Thanks for the photo, Memorymaker Photography! Had a great time at the Chamber of Commerce's Business Expo After Hours on May 23rd!

Nickerson & O'Day, Inc. received this sincere thank you letter from Challenger Learning Center of Maine! It was our pleasure to help provide safety vests for the volunteers of the 5K Space Race of 2018! Thank you, for letting us be a part of this exciting event for Maine's youth!

NOD is pleased to announce that we have been named the Design-Build Construction Manager for the new, 7000 SF Greenhead Lobster Processing Plant project to be built in the Bucktown Heritage Business Park in Bucksport. These are exciting days for beleaguered Bucksport, still reeling from the loss of the Verso paper mill. We will be teaming with Lewis and Malm Architecture in this project, which is expected to start this summer/fall and be complete by next February, 2019.

Last Thursday, March 1st, Tyler Weymouth was promoted from Assistant Project Manager to Project Manager here at Nickerson & O'Day, Inc.
Mr. Weymouth's extraordinary efforts in assisting in the project management at several major projects as well as his proven capability managing his own projects and his recent work as PM on the $4M Air National Guard Fire-Crash Rescue project has earned him this designation.
Congratulations Tyler on a well-earned recognition and we look forward to your continued success at NOD.

Last week, Nickerson O'Day was informed that we have been selected to be the Construction Manager for the renovations to Bell Hall dormitory at Husson University. This $2.4M project will be very similar to our earlier renovations at Hart and Carlisle Halls in 2016 and 2017! Work is scheduled to begin on site in mid-May and finish in mid-August, 2018. Many thanks to Husson for trusting NOD to complete another project for you!
