DESCRIPTION: |
|
| |
|
|
To meet the growing
need for emergency care at Inland, the Board of Directors there
commissioned Lavallee/Brensinger Architects to develop four
options for adding Emergency Department space in the most
cost-effective way possible.
Nickerson & O'Day
managed the master scheduling and preconstruction phase by
providing option schedules and conceptual cost estimates, value
engineering and, after an option was chosen, more detailed
design-development estimates. Once plans were complete, the
earlier budget was confirmed and despite four additional
renovation phases and an alternate Emergency Department entrance
relocation, the project was finished under its original
budget! |
